What’s your Always List?
Whether you’re a beauty junkie keeping up with every product and every beauty subscription or someone who likes to streamline their make up routine, we all have our own bag with the tried and true, ride or die, everyday makeup products. You know, that little bag you keep in your car, gym bag, office drawer or purse? That’s the one I’m talking about. That’s your Always List. Not the drawer, cabinet (or in my case warehouse) full of makeup and skincare that seemed like a good idea when you bought it. You use it a couple of times, have intentions of using it again but then somehow it ends up in the black hole of beauty where it stays forever. Can you relate?
Truth is, with the busy, faced paced lives we all lead we can only use a handful of products every day so they need to perform at the highest level, go on quickly and last beautifully all day into the night.
Here’s my Always List:
Skin Revival Hydrate and Glo Oil - It’s technically a skincare product but is so multi-functional and essential for great skin prep that I can’t do make up without it.
MVP Tinted Moisturizer and Concealer - This is a 5 in 1 product. Built-in primer to smooth and blur texture, Sodium Hyaluronate to bond moisture, SPF Broad Spectrum Mineral Sunscreen for protection, Advanced Pigment Technology for even, lightweight coverage and a Full Coverage Concealer. All in 1 little, unbreakable tube.
Blush + Glo Cream Blush + Highlighter - I use Coral Crush/Hi Beam for perfect cream to powder texture that goes on easily with fingers and lasts all day.
Hi-Def Mascara - After a quick curl with a lash curler, this mascara does it all- volume, length, and curl in a flash with a small, hollow brush that covers every lash and wears all day without smudging or smearing. It’s miracle mascara.
D-Fine Lip Liner in Neutral - This is essential to define, slightly enhance, and balance your lip line. My lip line is a bit crooked and this goes on, matching my lip tone undetected to even and enhance my lip line and keep lip color in place.
Lip Revival Lip Balm in Hannah - This all-natural vegan lip balm, full of plant oils and nut butters is extremely hydrating and feels like heaven on my lips. There are 9 sheer colors so there’s one for everyone. Perfect for every day.
These are the 6 products I use every single day, usually applied in the car (at stoplights only!) on my way to somewhere in a rush. If it’s an occasion that calls for more (or it’s a long drive), I’ll apply I-Line or Shadow Stx for more definition on my eyes.
What I really want is glowing, protected skin with healthy color, bright and shining eyes and full, soft and defined lips- all applied in 5 minutes to last all day.
Life can be complicated enough- let’s keep our make up routine easy and fun.
