Hi Friends! Leslie, here...

After decades working as a makeup artist doing thousands of gorgeous faces from celebrities and models to non-professional beauties, I found myself feeling the most fulfilled helping people discover that they can look and feel their best with just a few simple, effective products. Thus, Beauty For Real was born and I was committed to creating a beauty brand that was high quality, affordable, uncomplicated makeup made for your real life at every stage of life.

In 2010, we launched Beauty For Real with our beloved lip gloss and a mission to simplify beauty for women at every age. Since then, we've launched over 50 products, expanded into new categories, hosted hundreds of community events, and partnered with numerous causes. 

Together, we have built an incredible brand I am proud of with the love, support, and enthusiasm of you, our community.  Through all the years, products, and evolutions Beauty For Real has gone through, it is you who inspired me at every step. 

I think we can all agree that the last few years have been a little...well, wacky. I believe this moment in time has impacted us collectively, in many aspects of our lives. With that, comes change. As you continue to evolve, we want to evolve with you.   

To do honor to the brand and the community that built us to where we are today, I recognized that the time has come to shake things up a bit and I want to bring you along and keep you updated, as we embark on this journey together.

This year will bring the addition of four new products that you have long been asking for, and I have been formulating for over a year! Yes, FOUR! 

Additionally, we will be making improvements to some of our existing products and streamlining our product line. We are incorporating advancements in beauty technology to ensure we are purposefully producing the very best products. We're also upgrading our packaging with a fabulous new look - if I don't say so myself - oh, and improving functionality! 

As we continue to innovate in new products, refresh our packaging to reflect the beauty of our community, and expand our mission, we commit to maintaining our uncompromising formula standards to create purposeful products that make you look and feel amazing at every age in just a few simple steps. 

As a small business, I want to always "keep it real" with you that some of your favorite products may be sold out for a short period until we are able to get the upgraded products back in stock. If something is going to be permanently discontinued, we will inform you in advance. 

In light of that, in the coming months, we will be offering some select products on sale at a deeper discount than ever before, so you can stock up and we can make room for the new incoming products in a sustainable sell-through practice. We commit to selling through, without creating waste and harming our planet. 

To kick us off, we'll be running one of our best sellers, MVP at 40% OFF for the month of January. Don't worry - it's coming back, new and improved later this year! MVP takes a little longer than our other products to produce, so I recommend you stock up and save sooner rather than later on this one. 

As I look to the future of Beauty For Real, I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with joy and excitement for the future of our brand and also feeling immense gratitude. 

One thing I can say for sure is that we would not be here today without the love and support of each of you.
