Disappointed

I got a sample of Beauty for Real gel eye liner (Storm) in an Ipsy bag. That sample has become my go-to. It goes on so easily and looks great!

So I ordered this set, the "Sunshine" set expecting a wide variety of colors. Nope. Two black, one dark blue, one dark green, two goldish. The main way to tell them apart is the very small print. I can read "I-Line" and "24-7 EYELINER" which is printed in larger type on each tube. But the color name is about half the font size, sharing a line with "MADE IN THE USA". In the photo above for the product, there is a band of the color on the bottom of the tube. This is true for 4 of the 6 tubes and one of the 4, the Navy one, is dark enough that unless I'm in good light, it looks the same as the black. But the indiscernible variation in colors is not the worst part.

The worst part is the twist to dispense. On the tube I got from Ipsy, it comes out and retracts easy as can be. It took a dozen turns to get these new ones to start coming out and they don't want to retract. In fact, turn the tube in the opposite direction only seems to make more come out. I tried pushing a couple back in... that was a mistake... and the tips broke off one. Now I have six new tubes of gel eyeliner that I can't tell which is which and some are broken and all are extended too far.

Great formula & wonderful color selection at a steal $$ 💝

I received my very first I-Line 24-7 Eyeliner in a beauty box a short time ago. I am in my early 50's and have had eczema and dry/sensitive skin since age 2 and have worn minimal natural makeup (or as close as I could get) since Iwas a teenager. But, I have not ever found any eyeliner as amazing as this !!! The formula is non-irritating and stays put, the color selection is great. I am hoping for a purple, emerald green or burgundy shade 😍 to join the rainbow of beautiful shade selections available now. If you are not sure which shades to try, this set is a great start !!! And, of course you can't beat the price.
